Recordando algo que me dijo mi padre: » En la vida hay que luchar, trabajar, estudiar hasta que la mente nos dé y el cuerpo aguante, hasta el final, siempre hay que andar y moverse, porque si te quedas viene el Alemán y te invade.»(Alzheimer). Por ello creo nunca es tarde para aprender y dar ejemplo a otros de que sí se puede.

Remembering something my father once told me: «In life, you have to fight, work, study until your mind gives out and your body can take it, until the very end. You always have to walk and move, because if you stay still, the German will come and invade you.» (Alzheimer’s). That’s why I believe it’s never too late to learn and set an example for others that it can be done.

A mis 68 años, sigo en la lucha, y espero llegar a mis metas aprendiendo cada día. Hasta que Dios disponga de otra cosa. Por ello titulé «Esperanza de vida» a mi espacio radial. Porque desde que nacemos nuestros padres pusieron toda su esperanza en nosotros. He recorrido muchos caminos, viajes, misión, cambios de culturas, todo aprendizaje para la vida. Lo más grandioso es ser inmigrante, donde se vive otra experiencia. Creo que muchos comprenden a lo que se refiere, porque cada día recibo ese mensaje de sufrimiento y hoy más que nunca en el mundo, llegar SIN NADA, y esperar TODO es fuerte, pero es real, donde al igual que muchos se sufre al llegar a un país diferente sin nada de donde tomarte, pero con esa Esperanza, que todo irá bien.

At 68 years old, I continue the struggle, and I hope to achieve my goals, learning every day. Until God decides otherwise. That’s why I titled my radio show «Hope for Life.» Because from the moment we were born, our parents placed all their hope in us. I’ve traveled many paths, traveled on missions, changed cultures—all learning for life. The greatest thing is being an immigrant, where you live a different experience. I think many understand what I’m talking about, because every day I receive that message of suffering, and today more than ever in the world, arriving WITHOUT ANYTHING and expecting EVERYTHING is difficult, but it’s real. Like many, you suffer when you arrive in a different country with nothing to hold on to, but with that hope that everything will be okay.

María Eva Galíndez, mujer trabajadora, honesta y perseverante, con una fortaleza recibida de Dios, sincera, veraz, que trata de ser justa, luchando por llegar a sus metas, extrovertida, confiada, positiva, alegre, simpática y empática. Agradecida.

Maria Eva, desde el 2001 reside en México, adonde se traslado de su patria Argentina. Se adaptó pronto pero no fue fácil, siempre con Esperanza de que el mañana será mejor: «Creo que lo fue, por ello estoy muy feliz». Gracias a todas las bellas personas que estuvieron en mi camino y ayudaron a toda mi familia.

Maria Eva has lived in Mexico since 2001, where she moved from her homeland of Argentina. She adapted quickly, but it wasn’t easy, always hoping for a better future: «I think it was, and that’s why I’m very happy.» Thanks to all the wonderful people who were there for me and helped my entire family.

«Licenciada en Enfermería, Licenciada en Derecho, Escritora y Emprendedora. Pero ante todo Persona humana con defectos y virtudes, aceptando las fallas, levantándome en el camino de la vida con Esperanzas, porque Dios está en mi camino, con agradecimiento a todo lo que me rodea y regala cada día, en especial la vida, aceptando tanto lo bueno y lo no tan bueno que se presenta».

«A nursing graduate, a law graduate, a writer, and an entrepreneur. But above all, a human person with flaws and virtues, accepting failures, rising along life’s path with hope, because God is on my path, with gratitude for everything that surrounds me and gives me every day, especially life, accepting both the good and the not-so-good that comes along.»

El programa es: «ESPERANZA DE VIDA», porque todos los seres humanos tenemos esa Esperanza desde que somos engendrados por nuestros padres, Esperanza de crecer dentro del vientre de la madre de desarrollarnos en ese ambiente tan especial, que nos acoge, y sentir todo alrededor y escuchar todos los sonidos, aunque no sepamos que son, por ello el cuidado que debe tener la madre y el bebé, es una etapa muy especial.

The program is: «HOPE OF LIFE», because all human beings have that Hope since we are conceived by our parents, Hope of growing inside the mother’s womb, of developing in that special environment that welcomes us, and of feeling everything around us and hearing all the sounds, even if we don’t know what they are, therefore the care that the mother and the baby must have is a very special stage.

Esperanza se puede decir de muchas maneras y sentirla de muchas formas, igualmente como que es muy personal…. Lo único claro es que todos deseamos vivir, deseamos que nuestras metas, anhelos, sueños, se cumplan en:

Hope can be said in many ways and felt in many ways, and it is also very personal. The only thing that is clear is that we all want to live, we want our goals, desires, and dreams to be fulfilled in:

• Que aquel trabajo lo consigamos…. Que aquello material esté a nuestro alcance…. Que nuestros sueños se hagan realidad.. Que la salud…. Que el amor… Que la prosperidad.. Que la unidad………………….

May we get that job… May that material thing be within our reach… May our dreams come true… May health… May love… May prosperity… May unity…

Recuerda: en cada acción diaria realizada por cada uno de nosotros hay Esperanza de que aquello ocurra.

Remember: in every daily action taken by each of us there is Hope that this will happen.

«Por ello titulé así mi espacio. Porque tengo Esperanzas de que muchas personas reciban con agrado los temas que en él se traten, sirvan y ayuden a cada uno de vosotros en su caminar diario, y por ello, estoy agradecida».
